PHARMACEUTICAL LITIGATION

In 2006, Rob Kwok was honored to represent the parents of a newborn baby born with a severe heart defect. Later in 2006, the firm filed the first known baby heart defect lawsuit in the Gulf Coast region arising from the pregnant mother’s use of the prescription drug Paxil®, during her pregnancy. Sadly, her baby was born with a severe ventricular defect after his mother was prescribed and took Paxil® a drug manufactured by GlaxoSmithKline, during her pregnancy. The case was filed in Brazoria county and settled for a confidential sum before trial.
