Joshua R. Leal

Litigation Attorney

Joshua has a wealth of experience in successfully representing clients through significant and hard-fought legal battles. Not only has Joshua tried cases before juries, arbitrators, and judges, he has also argued before the Texas appellate court and before the U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. Joshua has also represented numerous clients with serious injuries ranging from loss of eyesight, loss of limbs, head trauma, torn ligaments, nerve damage, lacerations, burns and wrongful death, just to name a few.

Not only that, but Joshua has succeeded in many different areas of the law. For example, Joshua has helped countless homeowners in seeking relief since their homes were not properly built, or were damaged by nearby explosions. Joshua also helped clients defeat their student loans and obtained a judgment against the student loan company for his attorney’s fees. He has also successfully stopped wrongful foreclosures, and has represented homeowners associations, land developers, land owners, and commercial developers. Plus, Joshua has helped numerous clients in enforcing contracts that were not being honored. To top it off, Joshua has successfully handled several copyright infringement cases and has represented music publishers, song writers and music artists.

Joshua served as the Past President of the Fort Bend County Bar Association, and as Vice President and Treasurer of Fort Bend Lawyers Care—an organization that provided free legal services to the community.

In 2013, Joshua married Monica. Together, they are the proud parents of their twins, Francesca and Vivian, and the latest addition to their family, Penelope. Joshua enjoyed playing lead guitar for his local band and playing for the church choir, but now dedicates his time to playing for his daughters.
