The firm, through Mr. Kwok & Mr. Daniel, has always been passionate about representing people. After graduating from the University of Houston Law Center in 1993, Mr. Kwok immediately joined forces with a legendary trial lawyer, representing people. Within a few years, Mr. Kwok formed Robert Kwok & Associates, LLP with one paralegal and 300sf of office space. After a series of expansions, the Firm has grown to 11 lawyers and over 21 employees. In 2011, Mr. Kwok & Mr. Daniel formed Kwok Daniel, Ltd., LLP and expanded the firm’s operations statewide and nationally. Additionally, the Firm began negotiations to purchase the building and to lease additional space, with a state of the art build-out to occur in 2012 to house their Houston operations.

Today the firm occupies the entire 3rd floor of the East West Bank Building in the heart of Houston’s Chinatown. The Firm’s presence in Houston’s Chinatown and local community has grown over the years as the Firm actively participates and sponsors local civic activities including the Asian American Bar Association and the Miss Chinatown Scholarship Pageant.

Mr. Kwok speaks fluent Mandarin and Taiwanese, and is studying Cantonese, Vietnamese and Spanish. Mr. Kwok serves and leads Houston’s Asian Community, as a past president of the Asian American Bar Association, and former board member. Mr. Kwok actively supports Asian candidates for public office, and is a former judge and sponsor of Houston’s Miss Chinatown Scholarship Pageant.
