Garrett Wilson

Mr. Wilson is a senior litigation team leader at the Firm.  He was raised in Harleton, Texas.  In 2002, Mr. Wilson earned his BA in political science at John Brown University, graduating  magna cum laude.  In 2005, Mr. Wilson earned his JD from the University of Arkansas, serving as a member of Phi Delta Phi legal honors fraternity and Equal Justice Works – an organization dedicated to providing access to justice for the poorest and most vulnerable members of society.  He was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 2005 and The State Bar of Arkansas in 2006. He is also admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Northern, Eastern and Western Districts of Texas and the Eastern and Western Districts of Arkansas.

Mr. Wilson grew up working in the East Texas oil fields. As a young “roughneck” he learned the value of hard work. After a family member was killed in an explosion, he sensed a calling to serve regular men and women who are victims of greedy corporations and insurance companies. Prior to joining Kwok Daniel, Mr. Wilson worked for a prominent firm in Longview, Texas, gaining valuable litigation experience in oil field, defective products and serious car/big truck wrecks.

In 2012, Mr. Wilson was named one of the “Top 40 under 40” attorneys in Texas by the National Trial Lawyers Association.  From 2012 – 2017, Mr. Wilson has been consistently voted by his peers a “Texas Super Lawyer Rising Star”.  Being a Texas Super Lawyer Rising Star places him in the top 2% of all Texas attorneys in his age group – a significant honor.

Mr. Wilson and wife Rebecca have three wonderful children. He is active in community affairs, serving on various administrative boards.  Away from the office, he enjoys coaching his children in sports, reading history, and camping.
