Kenneth D. Morris

Kenneth “Ken” D. Morris was raised in Houston, Texas in the neighborhoods near the current offices of Kwok Daniel, Ltd., LLP. He graduated from The University of Texas in 1987 with Bachelor of Science degree. After earning his undergraduate degree, Mr. Morris worked full time for several years before entering law school. He received his Juris Doctorate degree from South Texas College of Law in 1994. In addition to being admitted to the State Bar of Texas, he is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas.

Mr. Morris started his law practice defending small businesses around Southeast Texas before joining a prominent law firm in Houston. He successfully defended major manufacturers in several multi-million dollar cases, with a focus on toxic torts, oil field injuries, catastrophic workplace injuries, and cases under the Longshore & Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act. This work provided valuable insight into the defense side of personal injury law.

Mr. Morris has been married for over 25 years to his wife, Ann Marie, and they have three wonderful children. He is active in the community serving several years as a Cub Master for his sons’ Cub Scout Pack and several years as President of his children’s swim team and the community residents’ club. He is also a past Advisory Board Member for the Gulf Coast Chapter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
