Robert Kwok & Associates, L.L.P. was founded by Robert S. Kwok in 1996, shortly after Mr. Kwok left the Law Offices of a legendary Texas trial lawyer, the Firm started with Mr. Kwok and one paralegal.  After a series of expansions, the Firm outgrew their offices, and in Fall 2004, the Firm began plans for building out 15,000 square feet of Class A space at the brand new United Commerical Bank Building in the heart of Houston’s Chinatown. 

In October 2005, the Firm built out and took over the top floor of the Concord Bank Building.  The Firm’s presence in Houston's Chinatown has grown over the years as the Firm actively participates and sponsors local community activities including the Asian American Bar Association and Miss Chinatown Pageant.

Mr. Kwok speaks fluent Mandarin and Taiwanese, and is learning basic Cantonese, Vietnamese and Spanish. Mr. Kwok serves and leads Houston’s Asian Community, as a past president of the Asian American Bar Association, and as a current board member. Mr. Kwok actively supports Asian candidates for public office, and is a major contributor and former judge of Houston’s Miss Chinatown Pageant.
